Admission Procedure

Issue of application for admission into all classes/courses begins with the notification issued by the principal immediately after the announcement of respective results in the college Notice Board and college website (www.hatidhuracollege.co.in). The Prospectus for admission can be downloaded from the college website . Applications are processed and finalized by the “Admission Committee”. The list of selected candidates is displayed in the college notice board and the selected candidates are to get themselves admitted. The applicants have to submit self attested copies of relevant certificates along with the applications. Applicants have to bring original certificates for verification at the time of admission.

Selection Procedure

Students seeking admission have to present themselves before the selection committee as per dates to be notified. Selection is made on the basis of merit and personal interview. A list of the selected candidates for admission is notified on the college notice board.

Documents to be Submitted with the Form:

T.D.C. First Year (1st Sem & 2nd Sem)

1. H.S.L.C. Admit Card and Marksheet
2. H.S. Admit and Marksheet.
3. H.S. Registration Certificate.
4. H.S. Pass & Character Certificate.
5. Four Copy Passport Size Photo (Colour) & One Copy Stamp Size Photo (Colour).

T.D.C. Second Year (3rd Sem & 4th Sem)

1. T.D.C. First Year Marksheet.
2. Three Copy Passport Size Photo (Colour) & One Copy Stamp Size Photo (Colour).

T.D.C. Third Year (5th Sem & 6th Sem)

1. T.D.C. Second Year Marksheet.
2. University Regd. Certificate.
3. Three Copy Passport Size Photo (Colour) & One Copy Stamp Size Photo (Colour).

Reservation of Seats

There is a provision for reservation of seats belonging to S.C, S.T (P), S.T (H), O.B.C. and M.O.B. C. and physically handicapped categories as per Government Rules. The candidates have to produce valid certificates issued by the competent authorities.

Honours Seats for T.D.C. (B.A.)

1. Assamese - 40 seats
2. English - 20 seats
3. Political Science - 40 seats
4. Philosophy - 40 seats
5. Education - 40 seats
6. Sanskrit - 20 seats

N.B.

• For Honours in B.A. in each Subject, the selection procedure will be notified in the College Website.
• Any change in Admission procedure will be notified in the College Website.
• Student seeking Admission for Degree 1st Semester class can apply online by clicking the tab “samarth portal” available on the home page of www.hatidhuracollege.co.in
• Students seeking Admission will be selected on merit basis and the merit list will be published in the College Website.

Rules and regulations:

1. Free Admission will be given as per guidelines issued by the Govt. of Assam.
2. Candidates / Guardians are requested to bring the exact amount of Fees for admission, if applicable.
3. Registration forms must be submitted as per the G.U. notification from the date of admission failing which students will not be able to appear in the Final Examination.
4. Once a student is admitted, Fee will not be refunded.
5. Seat will be forfeited if a student remains absent from classes for 20 days after the commencement of the session.
